Li Guangjie

Lü Guichen is the heir of the nomadic Qingyang tribe, and is sent to the Eastern Land as hostage. He meets Ji Ye, an unfavoured illegitimate son who is training to become a warrior, and Yu Ran, the princess of the Winged tribe. The three become close friends, and the boys’ feelings for Yu Ran soon turn romantic. At the same time, powerful warlord Ying Wuyi has been maintaining a firm control over the Emperor, giving him unprecedented power over the nobles. Towards the Republic, also known as For the Sake of the Republic and Zou Xiang Gong He, is a Chinese historical television series first broadcast on CCTV in China from April to May 2003. The series is based on events that occurred in China between the late 19th century and early 20th century that led to the collapse of the Qing Dynasty and the founding of the Republic of China. Owing to its portrayal of historical issues deemed politically sensitive by the Chinese government, the series has been subject to censorship in mainland China.

Bright Future tells the story of county party secretary Mei Xiaoge (played by Hu Ge) and the reforms he and his colleagues introduce to bring about much needed change and development to the lives of the people of Guangming county. Given the subject, it does appear to be a more serious themed show. The series is a key project by China’s National Radio and Television Administration.

Old Boy revolves around Wu Zheng, a pilot with a high-flying job and enviable good looks. His son named Xiao Han turns up out of the blue followed by teacher Lin Xiao Ou who’s more than eager to help out. Needless to say,their arrival shakes up the life of a jet setter especially since Pilot and Teacher had met once before, when they were abroad, and it wasn’t pretty

The movie “Heroes of Dunhuang” is based on the historical story of Zhang Yichao leading the soldiers and civilians in Shazhou to return to the Tang Dynasty.
